The short version: I collect your email address only if you give it to me. I use it for exactly what you asked for. I do not sell it or share it for advertising.

What I collect and why

• Calculator results. If you click "Email me my results," your email address and the days in cycle and number of homes you entered are used once to build and send that one message. I do not store the numbers or add you to a list.
• Newsletter. If you sign up (or tick the newsletter box), I store your email address, the date, which page you signed up on, any campaign tag in the link you came from, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and a one-way scrambled form of your IP address as proof of consent. I send a confirmation email first. You are not subscribed until you click it.
• Offers. The newsletter sometimes includes offers from tools or suppliers. If I could earn a commission or rebate, the email says so clearly at the top.

How to leave

Every newsletter email has a one-click unsubscribe link. After you unsubscribe I keep your address on a do-not-email list so I do not email you again. To have it deleted completely, email consulting@thehousetruth.com. If you ask for deletion I will remove your record, and you may sign up again later if you want to.

Who handles the data

This site runs on Cloudflare (hosting and database). Email is sent through Resend. They process your address only to deliver the service. I do not use advertising trackers, and the site does not use cookies for tracking.

The AI twin

The House Truth podcast and videos are hosted by an AI twin of Ben Vinson, an AI avatar with a synthetic clone of his own voice. Email you send to consulting@thehousetruth.com goes to Ben.
